About

Thank you for visiting our page.
As many of you know, we have completed various challenges and events for our own individual charities. On this occasion, we wanted to show support for all 4 charities in one go, to show our support to each others friends and family and to raise a good amount of money in the process!
We are aiming to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on the 3rd June 2017 (with one eye on the National 3 Peaks in 24 hours next year!) In total, there will be 50 people taking part in this challenge.
We are fundraising in memory of 6 fantastic lads, who we have lost far too young.
Nick Walker. Alex Albiston. Ryan Bothamley. Thomas Bothamley. Matthew Wilcox. Matthew Kiernan.
The amount raised from this challenge will be split evenly between the Children's Hospital Charity, Bone Cancer Research, SADS UK & CALM.
Incredibly, showing the determination and effort by the fundraising members, the group have raised £190,000 between these charities over the years.
We are very grateful to the people of Wickersley, who support every cause and we are proud to be part of such a close knit group of people. This challenge is all about getting as many people involved as possible; to show that we will always support our friends and families.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Team Wick.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
